The Cheerful Texan Missionary!

Happy Birthday, Sister Stringfellow (and also Kimberly)!!
How wonderful to spend your 21st birthday on the 21st serving the Lord.  We love this picture of you with your Mission Mom [and her sister] when you served for 3 months in the WEM (Washington Everett Mission) taken 9 Nov 2014.

Then the MTC on 3 Dec 2014-then 15 months in the DTM (Dallas Texas Mission).
We love your cheerful spirit:
25 May 2015  “.... one of my former investigators from the Washington Everett Mission…recently got baptized, and told me how much better his life has been for him….  I am so happy right now I can hardly handle myself.  This gospel, this work... is absolutely amazing.”
“Family, even though hard things happen on a daily basis, my mission is the most joyful and fulfilling thing I have ever done in my life. I am so grateful.”

26 December 2015  “The tornado touched down…. It hit the hardest in Rowlett (my first area) and Garland….With those 3 waves of tornadoes, the sirens went off 3 times and we had to take shelter in the safest place in the apartment...It was pretty intense, but I wasn't very scared. I felt safe, and we were protected!”

4 Jan 2016  Eleven companions in one week!!
“AH. WHAT AN ADVENTURE....This week has taught me in a bigger way than ever before the MIRACLES that come when we as missionaries work with members to move this mighty work forward.

It's cool because I previously thought - because of the craziness of not having a companion, we may not teach as many lessons this week…To my surprise, we taught more lessons this week than we ever have since I've been in the area.  It was amazing!...a great way to see how inspired this whole thing was to work with members as companions instead of being in a trio in a different area.  It was so much harder to coordinate and plan for definitely, but the Lord helped us!!!

WE LOVE Sister Katie Stringfellow, the Texas Missionary!!
