Being two is terrific –
so have a terrific time being 2!!
Macy, when your Mom was
two years old – her Dad would sometimes play the guitar and sing this song:
Where are you going, my little
one, little one,
Where are you going, my baby, my
own?
Turn around and you’re two,
Turn around and you’re four,
Turn around and you’re a young
girl going out the door.
And your Mom would turn around and
around – while he sang the words.
Then the second verse:
…Turn around and you’re tiny,
Turn around and you’re grown,
Turn around and you’re a young
wife with babes of her own….

So, Happy Birthday to
that gal that turned around and around and has babes of her own! We always had the joke that I was at Mother’s
Week at Ricks or at a Relief Society event on your birthday – but you
survived. You are a sweetheart
too!! Thanks for all you do for your
family and for all of us. Love you,
Becky. Have a great day on the 20th.
Lately, we have enjoyed
watching the videos in Gospel Library in español. You might enjoy this one: Go into “Settings” choose “content Spanish”
then “Videos” then “Bible Videos: The
Life of Jesus Christ” then choose: Dejad a los niños venir a mí. Enjoy!!
3 Nephi 11:38…and
become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God. (become…like children in obedience,
truthfulness, trustfulness, purity, humility and faith.
Jesus
the Christ by James E. Talmage, pg 359).
Our Zone Training was
Tuesday of this week on “humility” and “virtue” from PMG. The next day we had interviews with
President. Last Sunday, we enjoyed
General Conference in English with the American Elders and Sisters of the Valparaíso Zone. Some who were “old” in
the mission would head in to the chapel when the Spanish speakers were to
speak.
We had a wonderful
Easter 2015. And as President Uchtdorf
said, “That first Easter Sunday was “…the day that changed everything!”
How grateful we are for
that Great Atoning Sacrifice and for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. He lives!
